An international project and development professional with extensive hotel, leisure and hospitality experience across the UK, Europe, Middle East, Asia, Africa and island resort markets. Stephen's portfolio spans luxury hotels, branded hotel towers, resort destinations, airport hotels and mixed-use hospitality assets, refurbishment programmes and hospitality-led leisure destinations.

He is skilled in leading multidisciplinary teams from feasibility and due diligence through design management, procurement, delivery, cost control, stakeholder reporting, project recovery and operational handover — reach that extends across the UK, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Vietnam, Singapore, Sri Lanka, the Maldives, Africa, the Bahamas and Mallorca.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

  • NEOM Island 7-Star Luxury Hotel, Saudi Arabia — led design management on a major giga-project ultra-luxury island hotel development, coordinating internal and external design teams and stakeholder engagement.
  • Marriott KSA / PIF Hotel Projects — Project Director responsible for consultant coordination, stakeholder reporting and delivery governance across a high-value new-build and refurbishment portfolio.
  • Hilton Saigon, Vietnam — Projects Director leading design, team coordination and construction oversight on a 44-floor branded hotel tower.
  • Claridge's, The Dorchester & Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London — supported design coordination, change control and delivery reporting on refurbishment works at three of London's most prestigious luxury hotels.
  • US Care Facility Refinancing Due Diligence — senior technical advisory role leading due diligence on a US$1.25bn refinancing review.
